About me

I have nearly 2 decades experience in management of colorectal and general surgical pathology. I undertook specialist general surgical and colorectal training in the Cheshire & Merseyside training region followed by fellowships in specialist areas in Singapore (Laparoscopic & Robotic Colorectal Surgery), Melbourne (TEMS), Netherlands Cancer Institute (Complex Pelvic Cancer Exenterative Surgery).

I currently work out of the Liverpool University Hospitals, based in the Royal Liverpool and Aintree Hospitals. I am the Surgical lead for Inflammatory Bowel Disease across the city, a surgical core member of the regional Complex Pelvic Cancer MDT and also a core colorectal member of the supra regional Neuroendocrine Tumour service and MDT.

I offer and undertake Lower GI endoscopy, groin and ventral hernia repair including incisional and parastomal hernias, small and large bowel resections including pouch formation and excisions. I manage all manner of proctological conditions including haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulae, pilonidal diseases.
