About me

I am a fully qualified consultant cognitive psychiatrist specialising in memory assessments / early diagnosis of dementia and treatment / management of all stages of dementia. I completed basic specialist training in psychiatry and higher specialist training in old age & general adult psychiatry. I have been a full-time consultant in psychiatry since January 2006. My clinical interests are in memory clinics, early diagnosis and newer treatments for Alzheimer's disease & other dementias, neuroimaging for dementia and mental capacity assessments. I currently run 4 memory clinics per week in Cheltenham & Birmingham seeing about 20 patients per week for assessment and treatment of memory problems. I also do mental capacity assessments and reports.
