About me
My clinical interests are all aspects of upper gastrointestinal surgery including laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and endoscopy.
I trained at the University of Wales College of Medicine and qualified in 1999. After my basic surgical training I enjoyed a period of research looking into factors that affect outcomes in the management of stomach cancer and was awarded an MD higher degree for this work from Cardiff University. I then gained a higher surgical training number in Wales and took up a consultant post at the University Hospital of Wales in August 2009.
