About me

I have been an NHS consultant since 2009, practicing in all aspect of adult respiratory and sleep medicine. I am currently Chief Medical Officer for East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. I provide a prompt, friendly and efficient out and inpatient service. I have developed a web based assessment tool for my insomnia clinic, which I commenced in 2012. This clinic, the only one of its sort for miles around, involves completion of an online sleep diary and insomnia questionnaires, followed by a thorough outpatient assessment and then cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBTI), either via an online platform or face to face with our experienced psychologist.
I am an active member of the British Thoracic Society, British Sleep Society, European Sleep Research Society and European respiratory Society. I am one of relatively few qualified 'Somnologists' (sleep specialists) within the UK.
I have a wide ranging experience in all aspects of adult respiratory and sleep medicine.
