Dr. Anna Spivack, MSc, DPsych, CPsychol
Chartered Counselling Psychologist

I am a Doctor of Counselling Psychology and practice mainly within an Integrative framework, using elements of Cognitive Behavioural, Person Centred and Psychodynamic approaches. I am also trained in Psychometric Testing. I have worked in the field of Psychology and Psychotherapy for over 15 years. I have worked with adults, adolescents and children, providing individual and group therapy. I have also worked with couples and families. My particular area of expertise is in Eating Disorders therapy; I have worked with people suffering with Eating Disorders, and carried out research in this area. I also have extensive experience of working with bereavement, trauma, terminal illness, health problems, relationship difficulties, parenting issues, low self-confidence, self-esteem, identity, loneliness, self-harm, addiction, anxiety and depression. I have worked in a number of NHS organisations, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Tavistock and Portman Clinics, and Guy’s Hospital. I have a degree in Psychology and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and a full member of the Division of Counselling Psychology. I am also a member of the Health and Care Professions Council.
