About me

Prof. Vishal Madan is a consultant dermatologist and clinical director at the Everything Skin Clinic at Cheadle. He has been a Consultant Dermatologist at Salford Royal, Northern Care Alliance, since August 2010. His key areas of expertise are the treatment of skin cancers, including Basal cell carcinomas, Mohs micrographic surgery, and skin surgery. Between 2022 and 2024, he chaired Manchester's Specialist Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary team. He is the President of the British Medical Laser Association and is widely considered the leading authority in laser treatments for skin conditions. He is one of the few dermatologists with dual-country accreditation in dermatology.

After a core medical rotation at the University of Cambridge teaching hospitals, he completed his Dermatology Training in Manchester. Fellowships in Laser from Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Skin Cancer Surgery fellowship (Mohs) from University of Wales, Cardiff.
