Mr Agrawal is an international expert in Weight-loss Surgeries and is designated as a Master Surgeon in Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery MSMBS by Surgical Review Corporation of USA. He has the honour of being the first and only Weight-loss/Obesity Surgeon in the UK to achieve this certification. Earning the MSMBS designation signifies Mr Agrawal's commitment and ability to consistently deliver high-quality care to bariatric surgery patients.
Mr Agrawal has had extensive training in UK, Belgium, Japan & India and has undertaken more than 2000 general surgical procedures so far. In addition, he has an experience of over 1750 laparoscopic bariatric procedures to date.
Mr Agrawal trains other surgeons in bariatric & laparoscopic surgery and has made numerous presentations (>100) at national and international meetings as well as publications (>100) in peer-reviewed journals.

Mr Agrawal is Editor-in-Chief for a book titled Obesity, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery: A Practical Guide published in September, 2015 by Springer. The book has achieved >250,000 individual chapter downloads electronically worldwide so far. Under his editorship, a 2nd edition of this book titled Obesity, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery: A Comprehensive Guide was released this year (2023). This 2nd edition is part of the prestigious Springer Natures Major Reference Works (MRW) program.
