About me
I graduated from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1997 following which I worked as a junior doctor in a number of London teaching hospitals including St George's, Charing Cross, St Thomas' and The Royal Brompton Hospital. I carried out my Respiratory training in the South West of England but took two years out between 2005-7 to carry our postgraduate research at Papworth Hospital. I was appointed at the Royal United Hospital Bath in 2007 where I am Lead for COPD and Pulmonary Hypertension. I have developed local COPD services that have been championed by the Department of Health and a regional Pulmonary Hypertension service that now serves a population of 4 million - I was recognised for the latter in 2015 with a regional award for 'Collaborative Leadership'. I am the current Clinical Lead for the Respiratory service at the Royal United Hospital Bath where I see patients with a wide range of Respiratory conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I also hold a Visiting Professor role at the University of Bath, reflecting my research activities there
