About me
Mr Tambe trained as a Specialist Registrar in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Mid-Trent Orthopaedic programme, achieving success at the FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics).
He is experienced in the clinical and surgical management of a large spectrum of trauma and orthopaedic conditions, with specialisation in shoulder and elbow surgery.
Upper limb specialisation was undertaken in the reputed Nottingham Shoulder Unit and the Derby Hand Unit. One year Fellowship in the renowned Wrightington Upper Limb Unit working with experts in this orthopaedic specialty, significantly consolidated Mr Tambe's surgical expertise.
He was awarded the prestigious British Elbow and Shoulder Society Travelling Fellowship in 2008 and the AO Foundation Fellowship, gaining valuable experience in centres of excellence in the UK and Europe and at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA.
