About me
Jonathan Miles is a consultant at the world renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, the only specialist orthopaedic Hospital in London. He specialises in surgery of the hip and knee and takes specialist referrals from consultants all over the country for complex cases where expert decision making and surgical skills are vital. He is a robotic hip and knee surgeon, specialising in extreme accuracy of implantation. He performs partial knee replacement, total knee replacement and total hip replacement with robot assistance, leading to significantly lower complication rates than the national averages. He is the revision knee replacement lead for London and a National trainer and adviser in revision total knee replacement. He sees a high volume of athletes, professional and amateur, to deal with sports knee injuries such as meniscus tears, ACL injuries and cartilage injuries. Mr. Miles maintains a high interest in developing and learning in orthopaedics: he has written two books, well over 100 scientific papers and teachers and trains within his NHS practice and as a lectures around the world.
