About me
Martin Sheerin qualified with a first class honours degree and the year prize in Conceptual basis of Osteopathy in 2005 with a previous BSc (Hons) in Fitness and Health and an interest in sports injuries rehabilitation and exercise. He treats a wide variety of conditions and prides himself on his excellent bedside manner and professionalism, treating adults, children and babies.
Martin believes that it is essential that every patient has a thorough understanding of their presenting condition in order for them to receive effective treatment and advice to help their condition. As such Martin believes that every patient should be actively involved in the decision making of their treatment plan and therapy. Therefore Martin's diagnostics through Osteopathic evaluation are of the highest professional standards to ensure a differential diagnosis is reached and providing the patient with multiple treatment options. Only then can an effective treatment and exercise plan be implemented to suit the individual patients needs.
Martin works privately in Chelsea and Balham and can offer day time and evening appointments as well as home visits.
Martin worked previously for the NHS at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Kensington and Chelsea PCT from 2008-2017. During his time in the NHS his patients were GP and Orthopaedic Consultant referred, Rheumatology and Pain management referred and direct management referrals of all hospital employees i.e. nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals.
