About me
Gareth’s career in healthcare began in 1994 as a diagnostic radiographer. As a radiographer he has encountered a diverse array of patients and injuries, dealing with patients from casualty, to intensive care, to patients pre and post surgery. Gareth continues to work in this field on a part time basis at Watford General Hospital.
In 2001, Gareth decided to expand on his diagnostic knowledge with a degree in osteopathy allowing him to concentrate on treating patients. Gareth qualified from the Brisitsh School of Osteopthy with a Bachelor of Osteopathy degree and has focused his osteopathic work in the Watford and surrounding Herfordshire areas.
Gareth has a genuine affinity for the profession and a desire to treat all walks of life, ages and conditions. Gareth has developed a particular interest in the treatment of pregnancy related discomfort, babies, care of the elderly and sports injuries.
Gareth is a firm believer in involving patients in their own care and in finding the right treatment option for them. To aid this Gareth has further trained in rehabilitation and Medical Acupuncture and is a Qualified Musculoskeletal Medical Ultra Sono grapher.
Gareth is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association. Gareth is registered with all health insurances, including BUPA and AXA PPP.
