About me

I have been a Consultant for over 15 years delivering specialist service in urogynaecology, menorrhagia treatments, pelvic pain and paediatric and adolescent Gynaecology. I am an accredited Menopause specialist. I did my specialist training in obstetric and gynaecology in Oxford Deanery and then have been serving as a consultant at Royal United Hospital NHS Trust Bath. My focus of service delivery is patient cantered and have been very fortunate to have the kind acknowledgement, respect and recognition from my patients. I aim at evidenced based treatments and services and to tailor the treatment according to the patients need. I have lead the above services for 15 years and feel privileged to do so. I have learned from my patients as much as they have benefited from my skills. I strongly believe in listening and team work and feel patients are in the centre of this holistic approach. In my personal life I am happily married with three children and have got a personal interest in interior decoration, cooking and travelling and discovering the world and its people.

Areas of interest

Pelvic floor disorders including prolapse, gynaecological pain; Gynaecological ultrasound / scanning; Menstrual disorders (menorrhagia); Gynaecology; Incontinence (urine / faeces); Laparoscopic procedures ('keyhole surgery'); Management of menopause. Fibroid management : Pelvic pain

Procedures are: hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, laparoscopy, treatment to endometriosis, Mirena insertion, cervical smears; continence and prolapse surgical ,Urethral Bulking and bladder Botox treatment; all modalities of treatment of fibroids
