About me

I have been working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Freeman Hospital since 2008.

I specialise in Hip and Knee surgeries. I have a high volume practice.

I am certified and experienced in Robotic assisted Total Knee Replacement & Total Hip Replacement using MAKO Robotic system.

I have completed my Orthopaedic Training at Newcastle Deanery, as well as my specialist Arthroplasty training (Hip & Knee surgeries) as a Post CCT Fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore. I have done visiting Fellowships at Oxford Nuffield Institute, West Ontario University Hospital in Canada, and Training visits at Endo Klinik in Hamburg.

Involved in Surgical training and have instructed in Joint/Hip Replacements and Revision Hip Surgery Courses for the last twelve years at the Newcastle Surgical Training Centre .

I am involved in research and training international surgeons in Arthroplasty.

Hip: Hip Replacement; Hip Revision and Reconstruction of failed Hip Replacements; Complex Hip Problems. Robotic Hip Replacement.

Knee: Knee problems; Knee Replacement; Robotic Knee Replacement, Reconstruction and Revision of failed knee replacements.
