About me
Mr Leach is a Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon practising in Manchester.
He has more than 16 years experience as a consultant in private practice and achieves excellent clinical results as evidenced by patient reported outcomes in the British Spine Registry.
Mr Leach was Clinical Lead for Spinal Neurosurgery in Manchester for ten years, was Chair of the NorthWest Regional Spinal Network and is a member of NHS England's Spinal Services Clinical Reference Group.
Mr Leach specialises in spinal surgery including discectomy, decompression for stenosis, spinal fusion including minimally invasive approaches and cervical disc replacement. He has a particular interest in cervical spine surgery.
Mr Leach has an interest in Sports Injury and assesses a range of professional and amateur athletes with disc problems, lumbar pars fractures and other sports injuries.
Mr Leach believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to spinal care and works closely with physical therapists, sports & exercise consultants and pain anaesthetists - for many patients with spinal problems, surgery can be avoided. The OrthTeam spine MDT consists of surgeons, radiologists,pain specialists and sports and exercise consultants.
