About me

I have a private psychological therapy practice in North London. I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, from the mild to the complex end of the spectrum. I provide evidence based therapies over both the short and longer term (for example, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Focused Therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy). I worked as a psychologist within the NHS for over 12 years across many different clinical settings: psychiatric and general hospitals, forensic services, community mental health teams and psychology services. For the moment, I focus solely on my private practice.

Areas of interest

The bulk of my experience comes from working within Community Mental Health Teams (in the NHS) and in my own private practice. This means that I work with adults experiencing a range of psychological difficulties, from the mild to the more complex end of the spectrum. These areas include: Panic attacks; Phobias; Obsessive compulsive disorder; Generalised anxiety disorder; Post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic experiences; Childhood trauma; Low self-esteem; Relationship problems; Depression; Eating difficulties; Bipolar disorder; Bereavement; Addiction; Sleep problems. I also work with people who do not have a "name"/diagnosis for their difficulties but who nevertheless are feeling confused, frustrated, or somehow at sea in their lives.
