About me

I was appointed as a full time trauma and orthopaedic consultant in 2009 and have fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery. I read medical and natural sciences at Christ's College, University of Cambridge and subsequently an MSc at University College London with research into tendons.

My orthopaedic training was on the St Bartholomew's hospital Percivall Pott rotation which included specialist foot and ankle posts in Norwich and the RNOH, Stanmore, before completing a fellowship in Sheffield.

I am an honorary associate professor in the UCL Division of Surgery and am the UCL medical school lead for undergraduate orthopaedics (Bloomsbury Campus). In addition I teach on the UCL MSc in Sports, Exercise and Health.

My practice includes all foot and ankle surgery and trauma, as well as general orthopaedic trauma. I am the UCLH diabetic foot orthopaedic surgical lead.
