About me
Professor Ashley Woodcock OBE FRCP FMedSci, is Professor of Respiratory Medicine University of Manchester, and Consultant Physician at the NW Lung Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital. He is a leading clinician and academic at the largest respiratory unit in the UK.
He has published over 300 peer reviewed papers, on asthma, COPD and chronic cough. He is the Chief Investigator for the Salford Lung Studies on over 6000 patients with asthma/COPD.
Professor Woodcock is an established specialty leader. However, he remains very grounded, listening to patients, and partnering with them to apply common sense in their care.
