About me

I am a general gynaecologist with a special interest in urogynaecology. My NHS work is carried out at Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. I was appointed as a consultant in 2000 and have cared for private patients since that time.

If further investigation is indicated, I am trained in urodynamic testing and carry out the investigations personally, combining the testing with a discussion about diagnosis and management. I operate at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle and at The Beaumont Hospital in Bolton. In addition to urogynaecology I have wide experience in general gynaecology.

in addition to general gynaecological procedures such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and hysterectomy, I carry out a range of surgical procedures to treat incontinence and prolapse. I repair prolapse without the use of mesh and can offer a number of different procedures to treat incontinence without the use of a mesh tape.

I do not perform colposcopy or specialist fertility investigations and treatments.
