About me
I graduated from St Bartholomews Hospital Medical School, London and trained in Cardiology at The Royal Postgraduate Medical School/Hammersmith Hospital and at the National Heart Hospital. In 1989 I was appointed to the National Heart and Lung Institute and the Royal Brompton National Heart Hospital. In 1992 I moved to St. Georges Hospital, helping to develop the treatment of heart rhythm problems, and becoming Clinical Director of Cardiology. In January 2008, I moved to become Consultant Cardiologist at University College Hospital.
I am currently Member of the Department of Health Arrhythmia Board and President of Heart Rhythm UK, the professional society for clinical staff involved in delivering treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
