About me
I qualified at The Middlesex Hospital in 1969. Prior to that I obtained a 1st class honours degree in physiology. My basic medical training appointments were at The Brompton Hammersmith, the National and the Middlesex Hospitals. My formal neurological training took place at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases and Guy's Hospital. I subsequently became a consultant Neurologist at The Royal London Hospital and King George Hospital, Ilford, where I developed services for Parkinson's Disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and later Stroke Services having run the Stroke rehabilitation and Stroke prevention clinics at King George Hospital. Since my retirement and until recently I have continued my commitment to The National Health Service working in regular neurology clinics at Southend General Hospital. Until recently I was actively involved in medical student and post graduate teaching and I am still an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians. I now consider myself to be a general neurologist with a vast experience in clinical neurology but I maintain particular interests in Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy. Stroke illness headache and gait disturbances. I concentrate my private practice at Spire London East where I do two clinics per week.
