About me

Mr Waseem's practice provides a comprehensive upper limb and trauma service. He performs shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery both in elective and trauma surgery. He performs large number of arthroscopic keyhole and joint replacement procedures on shoulder, elbow wrist and hand.He also treats sports injuries and children for Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and hand conditions.He has been fellowship trained in trauma and upper limb surgery. He has trained in three regions, Manchester, Yorkshire and Wessex. The fellowships included an upper limb fellowship in Wrightington and 14 months as an upper limb registrar in Southampton. The trauma year was spent in Leeds and Hull.
The special interest in sports came from playing number of sports at university and regional level. Mr Waseem have more than 150 Peer reviewed Publications and regularly teach on national and international courses and meetings.
His NJR data shows a results way above the average and with a great patient feedback.He examines both for the Royal college of surgeons and Intercollegiate board.
He is a visiting surgeon in the Middle east and Pakistan with academic positions in both UK and overseas. He has extensively published his own results in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery both in elective and trauma settings. He has an honorary senior lecture position at Edge Hill University. University of health sciences in Lahore and SZAB in Islamabad Pakistan.
He is also a visiting surgeon to the Ministry of Health in UAE Dubai. He has an editorial positions in 4 international Peer reviewed journals.
He teaches on Stryker Masterclasses for consultants for shoulder arthroscopy.
He is also an IBRA instructor teaching on international shoulder fracture meetings.
