About me
Anxiety, anger, depression & shame are words we're hearing more frequently in our society but have we also become intolerant to experiencing them? Seeking therapy is the first step in the journey and you should congratulate yourself on getting this far.
Counselling Psychotherapy offers clients the opportunity to talk through their worries and feel more emotionally tolerant for the future ahead; whichever path you choose to take. It can help build self-esteem and promote confidence in your own ability; using the tools you already have and new ones you'll develop.
As a psychotherapist I give my clients the opportunity to work through their issues in an emotionally healthy way, aiming for lasting emotional change. This can be via face to face meetings in St Albans or Letchworth, Hertfordshire, or alternatively via Skype.
I have a passion for helping people and keep my clients at the heart of everything I do. My core belief is that if no two people are the same why should their therapy be? I'll work with you as an individual to find the most effective way to work through your issues.
As well as being accredited by the National Counselling Society I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical guidelines at all times. I also adhere to the BACP's 2019 Young Persons Framework for my work with adolescents. I have an enhanced DBS certificate for working with children & adults which I can evidence, upon request.
