Dr Hatice Yildiran

Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist

Hatice Yildiran is a Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and private practice. Her main clinical and research interests have been in working with Autistic people and people with Learning Disabilities.

Her work involves adapting resources and therapies to suit individual needs. Also making recommendations for reasonable adjustment in education, employment and healthcare.

She completed her doctorate training at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IOPPN), Kings College London. Her doctoral thesis focused on ‘Theory of Mind’ in Autism. She has trained in highly acclaimed institutions with academics and clinicians who are experts in their fields. Hatice works across the lifespan with children through to older adults using evidence based approaches.

Hatice has worked at the National Autism Unit (NAU) within the Royal Bethlem Hospital offering assessment and treatment for Autistic adults in an inpatient setting. She also worked at the Behavioural Genetics clinic at Maudsley Hospital administering cognitive and executive functioning assessments to Autistic adults.

Hatice works part-time in the NHS as a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist. She is currently working in Forensic services supporting adults with Learning Disabilities with/without Autism through the Criminal Justice and Mental Health System.

In her spare time she enjoys sewing projects, attending literary and arts events as well as listening to podcasts and catching up on the latest T.V. series.
