About me

I am an Accredited member of the BACP with over 20 years experience of working with young people. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and adhere to child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

The heart of my work is to make young people feel comfortable, valued, respected, heard and understood. I offer the right conditions for young people to explore the most difficult of places without being judged.

I am a warm, approachable therapist whom young people find easy to talk to. I have a gentle approach with an excellent understanding of a young person's world.

Areas of interest

I work with adolescents from the age of 11 yrs. I am experienced in mental health difficulties such as anxiety; depression; low self-esteem; self-harm; eating disorders; suicidal thoughts and OCD. I also work with bereavement; family difficulties; relationship/friendship problems; school/college or university issues; anger management and more.
