About me

Mr Scott Henney is a Consultant ENT & Head and Neck Surgeon at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital in Leamington Spa. After qualifying from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2001, Mr Henney undertook extensive surgical training across the UK and Australia. He gained foundational experience in General Surgery and ENT in the Northeast of England and Perth, Western Australia, before completing his specialist registrar training within the West Midlands Deanery. During this time, he held key clinical roles at Warwick Hospital, The University Hospital Birmingham (Queen Elizabeth), and Birmingham Children's Hospital, providing him with a deep-rooted connection to the Warwickshire and Coventry medical communities.

As a specialist in both adult and paediatric care, Mr Henney is fully trained in all aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) and has been accredited by the Specialty Advisory Committee in Otolaryngology. Following his UK training, he pursued advanced Fellowship-level training in Otology and Rhinology in Christchurch, New Zealand. This prestigious international fellowship provided him with expert skills in managing complex ear and sinus disease, benign head and neck conditions, and facial plastic surgery. His academic contributions were further recognised with the title of Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Otago.

Mr Henney's career is distinguished by numerous high-level accolades, including the Colledge Family Memorial Fellowship and the Royal Society of Medicine Otology Section Training Scholarship. These honours reflect his commitment to clinical excellence in treating conditions such as hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, and chronic sinusitis. He is an expert in modern, minimally invasive techniques, including Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Septoplasty, and the use of COBLATION Plasma Technology for paediatric and adult tonsillectomy. His practice serves a wide geographic area, offering specialist ENT consultations to patients from Warwick, Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, and Solihull.

Now a substantive Consultant at the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, Mr Henney remains dedicated to providing a patient-centred service that combines international expertise with local accessibility. Whether treating children's glue ear and snoring or adult throat sensations and neck lumps, he ensures each patient receives a personalised care plan backed by a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training and a wealth of global experience.
