About me
I have been a Consultant Cardiologist now since the beginning of 2012. During my training, I have been extensively trained in general Cardiology and in particular in Cardiac specialist imaging. I am registered with the British Society of Echocardiography and am accredited by them for transthoracic echocardiography and transoesophageal echocardiography. In addition, I am trained in performing stress echocardiography. I have done a PhD in Oxford in cardiac MRI and have had extensive training in cardiac CT. I also have done an MD in heart failure in Berlin, Germany.
I very much enjoy cardiac specialist imaging, but equally well love seeing patients in clinics or on the wards with "general" cardiology problems.
Apart from work, I have a young family who I enjoy going on long walks or travels with, and i love reading, but also like to "switch off" in the evenings over a game of tennis or squash.
