About me
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District General Hospital). This is the Major Trauma Centre for Lancashire and Cumbria.
I was appointed as a Consultant to the Trust in August 2008 with a special interest in Knee Surgery.
I graduated from St Andrews (1993) and Manchester University (1996). I was trained in the North West region, and then completed my Orthopaedic Training with National Fellowship training in Soft Tissue Knee Surgery and Primary and Revision Knee Replacement Surgery.
My Elective operating practice is exclusively Knee Surgery. My special interest is Arthroscopic Knee Surgery, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Patellar Realignment Surgery, and all aspects of Knee Replacement Surgery, including high flex replacements, gender specific replacements, and patient specific instrumented knee replacements.
