About me

Dr Lee Graham is a senior Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the Yorkshire Heart Centre, Leeds General Infirmary and Spire Leeds Hospital. He was appointed in 2008. He specialises in all aspects of the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders) and in standard and complex cardiac pacing. Dr Graham qualified from Manchester University in 1996 and subsequently undertook specialist cardiology training in Leeds. He obtained a PhD from the University of Leeds in 2004 after a period of research. Dr Graham specialised in the field of interventional electrophysiology and spent a fellowship year in Christchurch, New Zealand where he received extensive training in the management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias before returning to the UK to complete his training.

Dr Graham's specific areas of interest are: palpitations and heart rhythm disorders, radiofrequency ablation procedures, atrial fibrillation ablation, ventricular tachycardia ablation, pacemaker implantation, defibrillator implantation and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (biventricular pacing) for heart failure.

Dr Graham is a member of the British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) and sits on the BHRS certification exam committee.
