About me
Mr Conor Marnane MB BCH BSc (Hons) PGCert Med Ed FRCS (Eng) FRCS (ORL-HNS) is a Consultant in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck surgery .
He graduated in Medicine from the University of Wales College of Medicine and completed his Higher Surgical Training in Otolaryngology in South West England. Following the completion of his training he elected to undertake a further years advanced training as a Senior Fellow in Head and Neck surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia,, where he developed further expertise in complex head and neck surgical procedures, including trans oral laser surgery, and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery.
He has been a Consultant ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon in the NHS for 17 years and is based at Morriston Hospital, Swansea. He is also currently Deputy Clinical Director , National Strategic Clinical Network for Cancer. He is a member of the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists and the British Laryngological Society.
He has extensive experience in managing all types of Ear, Nose and Throat conditions and has a special interest and expertise in the area of head and neck including the non surgical and surgical management of voice problems, throat problems, swallowing problems and diseases of the nose and sinuses.
He has an interest in teaching , education, and research and holds an Honorary Senior Clinical Tutor position at Swansea Medical School.
