About me
I have worked since 2000 as a full-time Consultant psychiatrist within the NHS, and Private practise since 2006 mostly based at BMI The Saxon clinic in Milton Keynes.
I have worked widely, as an Inpatient and Community Consultant, including being Clinical Lead for the MK EIPT (Early Intervention in Psychosis Team) since 2006, and the Assessment team on and off since 2006.
In 2010 I was awarded the Individual practitioner of the year for MK MH and Community Trust.
I was Clinical Director for Adult MH in the above NHS Trust from 2008-2012 in addition to my Clinical role as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
Areas of interest
All major psychiatric conditions in adults aged 18 and above.
In particular, Depressive Disorders; Anxiety Disorders; OCD; PTSD.
My major Special Interest is in the Assessment and treatment of Psychosis including Bipolar Affective Disorder and Schizophrenia.
