About me

Mr Obi Agu is Consultant General Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon at Royal Free Hampstead as well as UCL Hospitals. He trained in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery in North Thames rotation and University College Hospitals.

Mr Agu has a specialist interest in keyhole laser/radiofrequency management of varicose veins. His UCL research based higher degree was on varicose veins and venous insufficiency. He is a renowned surgical access specialist with a major practice in spine and retroperitoneal surgery at RNOH Stanmore abd Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He has a keen interest in peripheral vascular disease especially claudication. He is a national operative trainer for endovascular management of complex aortic disease with a UCL research interest in aortic computational modelling. He is a regular speaker and trainer in endovascular techniques and operative management of complex retroperitoneal complications. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland and the International Society of Endovascular Surgeons.
