About me

I am a consultant Endocrinologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, part of the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. I see patients with endocrine (hormone) disorders and have the following special interests:
Pituitary disease
Effects of cancer treatments (chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immune therapies).

Please Note: I the scope of my practice does not cover diabetes mellitus.

I am a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and sit on the examination Board for the Specialty Certificate Exam in Endocrinology and Diabetes.
I am a member of the Society for Endocrinology.
In addition to my clinical work I am the Deputy Medical Director at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
