About me

I specialise in helping you to overcome your pain, in particular if it is persisting or complex. I am a physiotherapist with a background in pain neuroscience and rehabilitation, blending the latest pain science knowledge with a coaching model to enable you to change your pain and become active in your life once more.
I am an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Queen Mary's University London, an editor for the Physiotherapy Pain Association, a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain and a co-founder of UP | Understand Pain awareness campaign. I write and speak about pain with the aim of changing the way society thinks about pain so that we can tackle chronic pain, the number one global health burden.
