About me

I have been practising physiotherapy for 23 years having qualified from the University of East London after studying a 4 year degree. I have a son who is studying Chemical Engineering at university and a daughter who is about to embark to a Maths degree. I have spent 13 years working within the NHS and lately 14 years in private practice. My NHS work laid the foundations for my approach to patient care. I believe that treating patients as a whole person incorporating body and mind is vital. Regarding someone quite simply as "an ankle" or "a back" is not taking into consideration their holistic needs. I maintain up to date CPD and enjoy further enhancing my knowledge by learning at formal courses and also regular updates informally reading around my subject areas.
