About me

Dr Simon Pestell is a highly experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist with approximately 20 years clinical experience across a wide variety of specialist services.

He has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Chartered status with the British Psychological Society. He is registered with the HCPC.

Dr Pestell currently has experience working with common mental health conditions depression, anxiety disorders, trauma. He has experience in applying psychological approaches to substance misuse, health conditions, post traumatic stress disorder and workplace health. He has extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and is a qualified executive coach as well as a trained mediator with over 10 years’ experience managing interpersonal conflict.

He works with a variety of therapeutic modalities to suit individual clients, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy.
