About me

I am originally from Holland and started my career in Clinical Psychology at the University of Utrecht. I qualified in 1991 and moved to the UK in 1992. Since my move to the UK I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the National Health Service as well as in Private Practice. My knowledge and experience includes Mental Health Psychology, Physical Health Psychology, Learning Disabilities and Specialist Palliative Care. My approach is integrative with a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution focussed Therapy.

I set up my practice Hack-it Psychology in March 2012, Within this service I offer Clinical Psychology services for a broad range of mental health related issues. My services include Clinical Psychology- and Neuropsychology. I offer brief, solution focussed assessments and therapy support for people from the age of 9, who experience psychological difficulties and/or mental health problems caused by challenging life experiences, health conditions and neurological conditions including brain-injury.
