About me
I offer face to face therapy and online therapy/treatment via Zoom. Face to face contacts are in North Leeds and Harrogate.
Please note that I work in the NHS full time so I can only respond to texts and emails, not phone calls in the evening.
Areas of interest
Anxiety, Depression, Childhood trauma or abuse, PTSD, phobias, Relationship issues or conflict, Anger; Personality Disorders, Bereavement, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD). Basically any mental health difficulty.
Please note I only treat individuals who are 18 years or over.
I am a Cognitive Analytic therapist and Supervisor. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapeutic treatment for any trauma, such as physical or sexual abuse/assault or traumatic events which still cause flashbacks, intrusive images, thoughts, feelings or sensations as if it is happening again or keeps you fearful, avoidant or distressed. EMDR is as effective online as it is in person.
I am also trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), a skills based therapy for people struggling to regulate their emotions. I offer skills refresher therapy only.
