About me

I am a Consultant Clinical & Health Psychologist. I trained at University College London and have over 30 years experience of working with people with a range of emotional and physical health problems. I work with adults who suffer from trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, health anxiety, low self esteem and confidence issues.

I am a UK & Europe accredited EMDR therapist and work primarily within this model, while also drawing on cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy and the biopsychosocial model of health and well-being.

I have extensive experience in helping people whose longstanding or complex physical health problems (such as chronic pain, IBS, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity and cancer) impact on their emotional well-being. I also have a specialist interest in working with people who are considering or have undergone bariatric surgery.
