Neale Browne is a highly skilled Podiatrist at Knutsford Podiatry Ltd. Neale worked as a podiatry lecturer at the University of Salford for 32 years’, specialising in the treatment of lower limb and foot conditions in both adults and children, Neale has worked extensively with professional athletes and national sports clubs in managing sports-related injuries. In addition, he has presented research concerning the treatment and management of neurological conditions with particular regard to the effects of orthoses on children with cerebral palsy. His expertise in providing patients with bespoke orthoses to treat a wide range of conditions of the lower limbs has been recognised nationally.

Areas of interest

Specialise in bespoke foot orthoses that treat a large number of adult and paediatric medical conditions. These include: back pain; sciatic pain; knee pain; Osgood Shlatter syndrome; shin pain; Achilles pain; Sever's disease; plantarfasciitis; foot pain and Morton's neuroma.

Foot orthoses are also beneficial when there is a limb length difference (congenital and from hip and knee replacement surgery) causing Iliotibial band syndrome, trochanteric bursitis and back pain.

Foot orthoses can support the feet and aide walking in patients with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, stroke, and muscle weakness.

Ingrown toe nail specialist: Total or partial nail avulsion with phenolisation to prevent nail re growth under local anaesthesia
