About me
I am a Counselling Psychologist with 16 years' experience working in both the NHS and private practice. I am a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I specialise in working with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and OCD but am experienced working with many psychological difficulties.
In our first session, we'll spend time exploring what has brought you to therapy and thinking together about the style and approach that may suit you best.
My doctoral training has enabled me to develop expertise in a range of therapeutic models, which means I can work in an integrative and flexible way that is tailored to you as an individual.
My Training and Experience
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at University College London (UCL), before going on to obtain a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy. Following this, I undertook my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at City, University of London, and subsequently completed further specialist training in a number of therapy models.
Since 2020, alongside my private work, I have worked within the NHS therapy team at Vincent Square Eating Disorders Service. I was appointed to Senior Psychologist grade in 2022. Throughout this time I have gained extensive experience in assessing and providing eating disorder treatment to adults and young people with complex presentations. From 2021-2026, I also held the position of Research Champion for eating disorders within the Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Trust, co-ordinating and supporting large-scale eating disorder research studies in partnership with leading educational institutions, such as UCL, Imperial, and King's College.
In my private work, I support adults, adolescents and their families, offering help in managing eating disorders, low mood, anxiety, poor self-esteem, neurodivergence, life transitions and relational difficulties.
