About me

## Professional Profile

I am an accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist providing a warm, collaborative, and evidence-informed approach to therapy. I work with adults, young people, and families experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.

My therapeutic approach integrates person-centred, relational psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural (CBT), and trauma-informed principles. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to each individual's needs, goals, and life experiences, recognising that every person's journey is unique.

I have particular expertise in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, and related differences. I offer neurodiversity-affirming therapy that recognises the impact of masking, identity, emotional regulation, executive functioning challenges, rejection sensitivity, and the effects of late diagnosis. I also work with parents, carers, and professionals supporting neurodivergent children and young people.

Alongside neurodivergence, I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, and the lasting impact of childhood adversity and attachment wounds. My work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, helping clients develop greater self-understanding while building practical strategies for lasting wellbeing.

I have experience working within education, community services, and private practice, supporting individuals with complex emotional and developmental needs. I am committed to ongoing professional development and maintain high ethical standards to ensure my practice remains informed by current research and best practice.

My aim is to provide a therapeutic relationship in which clients feel genuinely accepted, understood, and supported to create meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels right for them.
