About me

Appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in 2024, I manage a wide range of general ear, nose and throat conditions, with a particular sub-specialist interest in head and neck surgery, including thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland disorders. I am a high-volume thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland surgeon.

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2012 and completed specialist training in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery within the West Midlands. I was awarded the prestigious Royal Society of Medicine Gold Medal for performance in the UK FRCS ORL-HNS final examination.

Following this, I undertook a highly competitive international fellowship in advanced Head & Neck and Skull Base Surgery in Brisbane, Australia, gaining extensive experience in complex oncological and reconstructive surgery, as well as advanced sinus surgery.

I am currently the Head & Neck Cancer and MDT Lead at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and contribute to the regional expert advisory group for head and neck and thyroid cancers. I work closely within multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based, personalised care, with an emphasis on clear communication and shared decision-making.

Alongside clinical practice, I actively participate in research trials, audit and quality improvement projects, contribute to academic writing and peer review for medical journals, and am involved in the training and supervision of resident doctors within the NHS.
