About me

Dr Oana Anton is a Consultant Paediatrician specialising in children's allergies and respiratory conditions. She leads the Children's Allergy Service across East Sussex and has over 15 years of experience caring for babies, children, and young people.
Families describe her as calm, thorough, and deeply committed to helping children live confidently with allergies. She believes in clear explanations, evidence based care, and working closely with parents, schools, and GPs to create practical, safe allergy plans.
Oana completed her medical degree in 2006 and has trained in paediatrics across the UK, including Brighton, London, Worthing, and East Sussex. She holds postgraduate qualifications in medical research and medical education, and she is an active member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI).
Alongside her clinical work, Oana teaches medical students and junior doctors, leads research studies, and has published widely in paediatric and neonatal medicine. She is passionate about improving allergy care for children and supporting families through every step of their journey.
