About me

Dr Jummy Awoseyila is a Consultant Paediatrician with broad general paediatric expertise. She has worked at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Basingstoke since 2018 and is lead for Cystic Fibrosis, Neonatal medicine, Paediatric research and Medical simulation training. Her clinical practice is underpinned by a strong commitment to safe, evidence-based care and clear, compassionate communication with children, young people, and their families. She obtained her primary medical qualification in Nigeria in 2003 and did specialist paediatric training in the United Kingdom. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and has a Diploma in Transformational Coaching for Lifestyle Medicine.
Her passions include nurturing and empowering young people both within and outside the work environment, fitness training and cooking.
