About me
Welcome, my name is Rosie.
I work as a Dynamic interpersonal and Integrative therapist, with people who are looking for a space for reflection, exploration and change.
The people I work with are often interested in trying to understand themselves at a deeper level and make changes. Many clients are seeking to make sense of something in their lives. I work at depth and offer the space to take a closer look at what is causing you distress, to bring about sustainable change.
I have an interest in supporting others to build an understanding of their unconscious relationship patterns, attachment difficulties and their sense of self. I offer a relationship that facilitates the exploration of life experiences, and difficulties that have come to shape how people relate to themselves, others and the world around them presently.
Sometimes, clients feel stuck in recurring relationship patterns and problematic dynamics. You feel have issues around abandonment or commitment. Maybe you are struggling to make the changes you would like, or feel undeserving of what you truly want from life.
The process of therapy allows space for your
past and present experiences to be heard, felt and understood. With an emphasis on building internal resources and emotional capacity. My approach is thoughtful, compassionate and collaborative.
At times, therapy can feel challenging, as you explore life's challenges and the impact on your well being. Therefore, I provide a warm and empathic space for you to explore and express yourself safely and at a pace that feels right for you.
Areas of interest
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) is a 16 session Psychodynamic approach. Accredited by the Anna Freud Centre.
This type of therapy facilitates a space to explore the problematic core beliefs that impact on your life presently. To explore the impact of difficult relationships and to use our relationship as a source of repair and exploration.
I provide a safe setting for therapy where together we can examine issues carefully, without judgement or avoidance. Over time, clarity can emerge and this helps to build understanding, insight and new possibilities. I offer long term and short term therapy, we can discuss your needs and build a supportive approach together.
I work from a trauma-informed perspective as a Counsellor and DIT therapist, with over 5 years professional experience as a qualified counsellor. Working with adults from diverse backgrounds across the NHS and charity sector. I to ensure that the therapeutic support my client's receive is safe, respectful and sustaining.
