About me

Have you noticed that you've been feeling more anxious, sad, angry or stressed lately? Perhaps those feelings are much closer to the surface now and are affecting your day to day life and behaviour.or you may have experienced a loss or a relationship which you feel ready to process? There may be thoughts or memories of experiences that are troubling you but which you just can't stop from popping up in your mindor maybe you feel as though everything is just a bit too much at the moment and it's becoming quite overwhelming.

Did you know that talking things through with a professional in a safe, confidential space where there is no judgement, can help with these? As a qualified counsellor and supervisor, I've had over a decade of experience supporting clients to recognise, explore and process these and other feelings, thoughts and behaviours. By accepting that safe space, you could be giving yourself the chance to let go of some of that emotional load that might be feeling really heavy by now, and to think about how you'd like to move forward. Engaging in that time could give you the opportunity to take a step back, breathe, and really start to detangle all of those thoughts and feelings, and explore how they are affecting you and your relationships so that you can decide how you want to move forward, and start to regain control.

Areas of interest

Using person centred and relational theories, I work with clients aged six and above to explore all feelings, behaviours and thoughts which may be troubling them, including depression;anxiety;self-harming;suicidal thoughts;stress;grief & loss;anger;low self-esteem;low confidence;LGBTQ+ counselling;chronic health conditions;ADHD;loneliness;abuse;childlessness not by choice;trauma;redundancy;relationship issues;abortion;gender dysphoria;PTSD;estrangement from family.

Exploring these and other areas together with me, the client is able to set the pace and depth of the work we do, all within the safety of the counselling space. By offering you non-judgmental acceptance you can really take the time to look for a way through whatever is causing you difficulties in your life, workplace and relationships.
