About me

I am a consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine, working full time in Pain Medicine for the last 18 years.
I have developed huge clinical expertise in managing intractable pain in patients with primary and secondary to specific disease pain conditions. For 10 years I have served as Director of Pain Clinic to the NHS Trust I currently work. I am now the Interventional Lead and Faculty of Pain Medicine Tutor for training of anaesthetists of specialist grades and Advanced trainees in Pain Medicine. I am lecturing nationally and internationally on topics of complex myogenic neuropathic pain, diabetic neuropathies, pain trajectories of survivors of critical illness, facial pain, radiofrequency treatments. I have introduced novel treatments for knee pain, facial pain and created and maintained a Specialist Diabetic Polyneuropathy Pain Clinic. I treat cancer patients with specialist interventional techniques. . I have been selected many times for Patient's awards due to my dedication to patient care and individualized approach to each of my patients. I regularly audit and review my clinical practice and outcomes. I am a life-long learner. Currently I practice privately in St Joseph's Hospital, Newport and Queen Anne Street Medical Centra&Fitzrovia Hospital, London.
