About me

Hetashi is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with experience of working with children, young people, and adults across the lifespan.

Given her interest in the interaction between physical and emotional wellbeing, Hetashi has specialist expertise in Paediatric Psychology. Through her work, she supports individuals and families to adjust to a new diagnosis or ongoing symptoms, and to cope with the emotional impact of chronic physical health conditions.

Additionally, Hetashi works with a range of mental health concerns. These include anxiety, low mood, obsessive-compulsive difficulties and traumatic/adverse experiences. Hetashi works with you to develop a meaningful understanding of difficulties, whilst sharing practical guidance or strategies to manage concerns.

Hetashi offers tailored and collaborative interventions that are aligned with each individual's needs and goals. With an integrative approach she will draw upon evidence-based therapies including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Habit Reversal Therapy (HBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy, and Systemic Practice.
