About me

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, BACP.
I am therefore bound by the BACP Ethical Framework which is deeply attuned to my own value system of integrity, justice, fairness and compassion which I endeavour to offer both within the counselling room and personal life.

I work with children, young people, couples and others, supporting their respective needs for change.
I work through an integrative relational model which for me is a blend of many disciplines including humanistic, psychodynamic and other modalities.
At the core of my practice is the counselling relationship, a powerful force for change. I work collaboratively with the client through this relationship, exploring together the challenges the client may be experiencing. Emotionally present with the client throughout the work, we discover ways to address these personal difficulties, allowing the emotional shift which may be desired.
Such difficulties may otherwise feel unmanageable without a safe trusting, empathic, non-judgemental and respectful counselling relationship
